She is survived by: her children, Elnora Mahoney, Willie Dean (Leroy), Encalade, Robert "Jasper" Smith, Atasha, Shenika and Keisha Smith; her sisters, Rosie Magee, Gloria Simmon and Thannie Conerly; and her close friend Janell Joseph. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
