He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Van Hees Schexnayder; his parents, Merlin C. Schexnayder, Sr. and Rosalie Favaloro Schexnayder; and his stepmother Clara McDonald Schexnayder. He is survived by: his children, Kelli Barrois (Dale), Kris Babin (Darrin) and Rachel Schexnayder; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Zachary Barrois (Jennifer), Sarah Babin Driggers (Jay), Andrew Padilla and Grace Babin; his great grandchildren, Ayden, Aubry and England Barrois; and his close friend Helen Babin.
