She is survived by: her grandchildren, Rhonda Denett Sierra (Marvin), Suzanne Denett Jones (Darryl) and Colonel Mark Sorapuru (Mona); her great grandchildren, Amanda Denett Brown (Joshua), Alexandria Sierra, Taylor Kloiber, Abigail Sorapuru and Mark Sorapuru Jr.; and her siblings, Royal Sylve, Elliott Sylve, Angelina Sylve Pantoja, Ernest Sylve, Olivia Sylve Trahan, Eula Sylve Phillips and Hilton Sylve. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
