She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Joseph and Mary Jane McDonough Gleason; her husband Victor Carter Mackenzie; and her brothers, Dr. William Bourke Gleason (Bill), Patrick Joseph Gleason, John Jerome Gleason and Thomas Mullen Gleason.
She is survived by: her siblings, Eileen Gleason of New Orleans and James Gleason (Richard Shurtz) of Pittsburgh; her aunt Roselyn McDonough O'Rourke of Danbury, Conn.; her siblings-in-law, Sue Lane of Severna Park, Beverly Noretzky of Marlton, N. J., Raysa Toppi of Littleton, Mass. and David Vernon Shaver, Jr. (Debra) of New Orleans; and her nieces and nephews, Alexander Gleason of San Francisco, Laura Lane Gleason of Jenkintown, Dr. Georgia Gleason (Gene Sirotin) of Severna Park, Jonathan David Shaver (Mary Wallace) of New Orleans, Maggie Shaver Credeur (Kevin) of Baton Rouge, Evelyn Toppi and William Toppi of Littleton, Mass.. She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the New Orleans Chapter, National Alliance on Mental Illness are preferred.
