He is survived by: his close friend Licaira Lora; his children, Jose William Montero (Veronica), Shamaleyka Montero (Juan) and Grace Marie Montero; his grandchildren, Kathaleyka and Jhanciel Antonio; his parents, Ivonne Ramos Suris and Jose Antonio Montero Rivera; and his siblings, Maria Montero Rivera, Jacqueline Montero and Ivonne Marie Montero Ramos. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
