It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Garnett (Terrytown, Louisiana), who passed away on August 15, 2020, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence B. Garnett; his grandparents, Louise Frey-Simmons, Mary Garnett, Lawrence Garnett, Shelton Frey and Purnell Simmons; and his granddaughter Xaria Henry-Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Garnett; his mother Vivian Garnett; his children, Gary Garnett Jr. and Jonte Henry; his siblings, Lawrence (Janice), Shelton, Donald Garnett, Donna Brown (Chester) and Vida Quovadious Garnett; and his grandson Isaiah Henry.
Due to Covid-19 a private ceremony at Westlawn Cemeteries on Monday, August 24, 2020 at 11:00 am.
