He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Laade Maxwell; and his parents, Frederick Maxwell, Sr. and Doris Mann Maxwell. He is survived by: his sons, Frederick O. Maxwell, III, Robert L. Maxwell (Rebekah) and Kevin J. Maxwell; his grandchildren, RJ Maxwell, Jr., Adrianna Wheat and Faith Jackson; and his sister Jeannie Maxwell Hotard.
