He was predeceased by: his child Kristen Symone; his parent Vernell "Blackstone" Burns; and his sibling Vernell "Ann" Helton. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Joseph Burns, Jr. and Brandon Christopher Burns; his parent Mary Louise McDaniel Burns; his siblings, Lamond Burns, Tammy Marie Burns and Valliere Denise Young; and his child-in-law Dannaka Burns. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
