It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helena Masset Whitaker in Tangipahoa, Louisiana, who passed away on September 22, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward A. Masset and Antoinette Mary Kenny Masset; her husband Emile Anthony Whitaker, Jr.; and her siblings, John H. Masset, Laura Faust and Dorothy Mentel.

She is survived by: her children, Mary W. Storey (Tony), Emile A. Whitaker, III, Susan W. Asaro (Robert J.), Donna W. Wallace, Terri W. Pritchett, Ginger M. Landry and Mark S. Whitaker; and her sister Elaine Rodriguez. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.
