He is survived by: his wife Frances "Susie" Johnson Murphy; his children, Chris Murphy (Laurie) and Katie Murray (Cameron); his grandchildren, Lilah Murphy, Malachi Murphy, Sean Murphy, John Murphy, Millie Murray, Maddie Murray and Cecilia Beavers; and his siblings, Mickey Murphy (Joy), Tim Murphy (Judy), Kevin Murphy (Janet) and Bridget Bagley (Jerry).

His presence will be deeply missed, but his contributions to his community and his enduring spirit will live on.
