With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nelson Albert Lusby of Tallulah, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson E. Lusby and Agnes V. Lusby (Parks); his wife Rita Sue Lusby; his siblings, Ronald Lusby, Rose Gibbons, Bernard Lusby and Peggy Shenton; and his close friend Leoma Reed.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Swayze (Bruce) of Farmerville, Christine Huskey (Perry) of Tallulah, Geraldine Hicks (Gene) of Tallulah, Louisiana and James Boyd Lusby (Terrie) of Tallulah, Louisiana; and his great grandchildren, Carson Kurtz and Alan Michael Ashley. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
