She was predeceased by: her son John David Wood; her parents, James Otto Lancaster and Ruth Usher Gillespie Lancaster; and her siblings, John Bruce Lancaster, James Otto Lancaster, Jr., A. K. "Buddy" Lancaster, Joe Price Lancaster and Mittie Lancaster Schiele.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Wood; her children, Paige Wood Miller (Boyce) of Tallulah and James Bart Wood (Shannon) of Tallulah; and her grandchildren, John Hudson Wood, Taylor Kennedy, Shelby Ruth Kennedy, Brice Wood, Sara Kennedy, Chandler Wood, Caroline Miller and Carrie Beth Miller.
