He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Yerger (Williamson) and Maxwell Yerger; and his brother Maxwell Yerger, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his grandchildren, Scarlett (Jefferson) of Shreveport, Kelly Ann (Maxwell) of Shreveport and Hope (Adam) of Boston; and his siblings, Betty (Doug) of Lafayette and Robert (Elizabeth) of Charleston.
