She was predeceased by: her parents, James Clarence and Dorothy Mae Burris (Bearden); and her siblings, James C. Burris, Jr., William Otis "Billy" Burris and Ruby Nell Burris Melugin.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Joseph Ghrigsby, Sr.; her children, Deborah Alysia Randall (Allen), Jeannie Lanette Wolcott (Scott) and Larry Joseph Ghrigsby, Jr.; and her sisters, Bobbi Johnson of Minnesota, Lorene Mathews (James) of Tallulah, Wanda Whitley (A. J.) of Tallulah and Rose Williams (Lon) of San Diego, California. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
