With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Ray DeWeese of Tallulah, Louisiana, born in Delhi, Louisiana, who passed away on October 20, 2023 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Edgar and Ada Iva McMichael DeWeese; his aunt Fern; his brother-in-law Elmer Busby; his wife Paula Mayeux DeWeese; his daughters, Dezaraé Peeples (Brett) and Vanessa Staton (Rustin); his grandchildren, Everett Joseph, Samuel Wade and Mary RayAnn; his siblings, Bill DeWeese (Tina) and Debbie DeWeese Busby; his niece Lacy; and his nephews, Eric, Bill, Jeff, Joey, David and Shannon. He was also cherished by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to First Methodist Church Tallulah.
