He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Helms and Edna Helms; his sister Barbara Helms Stone; and his grandson Matthew Gilles LeBlanc. He is survived by: his wife Nona; and his children, Cindy Helms Pedersen (Mark), Thomas B. Helms, Susan Helms Cart (Rusty), Kimberly Hebert and Julie Woodcock (Lloyd). He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, and 6 Great-Grandchildren.
