It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Jean Fruge of Sweetlake, Louisiana, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on October 13, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley LeBleu and Eloise LeBleu; her husband JD Fruge; and her brother Virgil LeBleu. She is survived by: her children, Bernadette Fruge (Ashley Menard) of Lafayette, Kirk Fruge (Jerry Torres) of Dasmarinas and Cavite; her granddaughter Cora Fruge; her sister Marlena Boyles; and her nieces, Pam Shepherd (Thomas Shepherd) and Paula Babineaux (Brian Babineaux).
