It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Jean Fruge of Sweetlake, Louisiana, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on October 13, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley LeBleu and Eloise LeBleu; her husband JD Fruge; and her brother Virgil LeBleu. She is survived by: her children, Bernadette Fruge (Ashley Menard) of Lafayette, Kirk Fruge (Jerry Torres) of Dasmarinas and Cavite; her granddaughter Cora Fruge; her sister Marlena Boyles; and her nieces, Pam Shepherd (Thomas Shepherd) and Paula Babineaux (Brian Babineaux).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 at 8:00 AM at the Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles (3001 Ryan St, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A rosary was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM.
