She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Watt and Reba Freeland; her son Jack Allen Dean; and her brothers, David Eugene Benson and Dennis Wayne Watt.

She is survived by: her daughters, Robin Grantham (Michael) of Swartz, LA and Susanne Dean of Bastrop, LA; her siblings, Linda McDonald (Bobby) of Bastrop, LA, Cathy Stripling (Roger) of Sterlington, LA, Bobbie Sue Watt of Swartz, LA and Carl Watt (Gisela) of Ohio; her sister-in-law Rose Benson; her grandchildren, Jason Fortune, Amber Grantham and Joshua Grantham; and her great grandchildren, Anna Claire Fortune, Adaleigh Fortune, Jace Fortune, Marcelline Grantham and Stephen Grantham. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
