She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Williams and Bertie Williams of Swartz, Louisiana.; her husband Coleman Lee Carlisle of Monroe, Louisiana.; her siblings, Albertine Logan, Woodrow Williams, Verna Daniel, Dorothy Armstrong and Harold Williams; and her son-in-law Ronnie Twyford.
She is survived by: her former husband Bernard Hixon Brooks of Swartz, Louisiana.; her children, Bernie Brooks (Deborah) of Collierville and Julie Twyford of Hot Springs, Arkansas.; her grandchildren, Mark Twyford (Holly) of Hot Springs, Karen Rath (Bill) of Bixby, Chris Brooks (Kristy) and Jeff Brooks (Cover) of Collierville; and her great grandchildren, Caroline Davis (Kai), Faith Twyford, Leah, Lindsey, Caleb Rath, Lucy, Troupe Brooks and Ruth Greer Brooks.
Due to Covid restrictions, there will be a family graveside service only.
