It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Guillot of Sunshine, Louisiana, born in Plaquemine, Louisiana, who passed away on October 22, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Guillot and Odile Bourgoyne Guillot; and his sisters, Betty Landry and Marvel Allemond. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Berthelot Guillot; his children, Jason Paul Guillot (Kristine) and Angella Reeves (Brad); his grandchildren, Aaron Paul Guillot (Erica), Jason Paul Guillot, Jr. (Melanie), Blaiklee Guillot, Adaline Reeves and Zane Reeves; his great grandchild Elena Guillot; and his sisters, Laura Gaudet, Linda Caraway and Julie Rivet. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
