He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Lowery and Hester Brown; and his siblings, Gene Lowery, Charles Lowery and Christine Bowser.

He is survived by: his wife Amy Lowery of Sunset; his children, Jonathan Lowery (Rebecca) of Benson, NC, Paul Lowery of Abilene, TX and Rebecca Perry (Kevin) of Bunkie; his grandchildren, Taylor Perry, Nicholas Perry, Isaac Perry, Corinna Lowery and Logan Lowery; and his great grandchild Tanner Brunson.

Memorial contributions in the name of Vernon Lowery may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Building Fund, P.O. Box A, Grand Coteau LA 70541.
