With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald G. Rue of Sunset, Louisiana, born in Franklin, Louisiana, who passed away on April 7, 2022 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Garland Rue, Sr.; his father-in-law Nelson J. Guidry; his brother-in-law Bill Lemmons; and his great-niece Magnolia Thrift. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Arceneaux Rue of Rayne; his wife Sharon Castille Rue of Sunset; his siblings, Rhonda Kidder (Lester) of Port Barre, Renee Elder (Robert) of Perry, LA, Rebecca Boutte (Pat) of Lafayette, Roxanne Lemmons of Sunset, Rochelle Rue of New Iberia, Rana Montet (Phillip) of Lafayette and Roland Rue (Michelle) of Carencro; his mother-in-law Vera Robinson Guidry of Lawtell; and his brother-in-law Kirt J. Guidry of Lawtell. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
