He is survived by: his daughter Alexis Fontenot of Houston, TX; his mother Elizabeth Hammill of Lafayette, LA; his siblings, Holly Palombo (Doug) of Lafayette, Michael Fontenot Jr. of Carnie, NE, Candie Sutherland (Clayton) of Houston, TX, Connor Hammill of Lafayette and Isabella Hammill of Lafayette; his stepmother Angela Cormier of Carencro; and his nieces and nephews, Audrey, Adele Palombo, Henri, Ellis and Truitt Sutherland.
