He was predeceased by : his wife Elsie Hebert Miller; his parents, Altheus Miller and Mabel Guidry Miller; his parents-in-law, Moise and Elmire Taylor Hebert; his brother Ray I. Miller; and his grandchildren, Guy Oren Miller and Erin Alexandra Miller.

He is survived by : his children, Cody Miller (Shelia) of The Woodlands, TX, Blane Miller (Connie) of Cankton, Chad Miller (Donna) of Sunset, Vicki Miller Pounds (Robert) of Lafayette and Dana Miller Higginbotham of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Sean Miller, Shea, Nick Miller, Grant, Alaina, Trent Miller, Rob, Wade Pounds, Greyson and Arienne Higginbotham; his great grandchildren, Tre, Guy Corey Miller, Adelaide Miller and Isla Beth Gautreaux; his sister-in-law Tammy Hulin (Greg) of Scott; his niece Rachelle Hulin; his nephew Zachary Hulin; and his great-niece Elle Hulin.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A rosary was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the St. John Berchmans Catholic Church (552 Main St, Cankton, LA 70584).
