She was predeceased by: her husband Roy L. Hagger; and her parents, Jacob Thomas and Alberta Scott. She is survived by: her daughter Angela Hagger of Leonville; her adoptive daughter Mehret Haile; her brothers, John Carey Thomas (Mary Majorie) of Houston, TX and John Lewis Thomas (Mary "Cookie") of Mesa, AZ; and her grandchildren, Andre Cary Lee Hicks, LaQuisha Hagger, Amber Angelina Sims Edwards, Raphael Haile and Hermela Haile. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and a few great-great-grandchildren.
