She was predeceased by: her husband Leslie Duplechain; her parents, Peter Adams, Sr. and Lorena Savoie; and her siblings, Joseph Louis Adams (Rosita) of Lafayette, Peter Adams, Jr., Irving Adams, Hilida Taylor, Pearl Moore, Eleanor Stewart, Evella Etienne and Thelma Davis.
She is survived by: her children, James Marion Duplechain (Thelma) of Houston, TX, Barbara D. Sullivan (Larry) of Mobile, AL, Maxine Duplechain of Sunset, Dolores D. Broussard of Lafayette and Iris Fernell of Lafayette; and her siblings, Larry Adams of Houston, TX. and Mary Ann Adams of Sunset. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
