He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Robinson and Laura Henry Robinson; his wife Diana Long Robinson; his son Cleophus Lewis Robinson; and his nephew Herman Phillips, Jr..
He is survived by: his sons, Alvin Robinson, Jr. of Morgan City, LA and Eris Robinson, Sr. (Chanesha) of Lafayette, LA; his sisters, Geraldine Robinson Phillips, Sr. (Herman) of Houston, TX, Rose Robinson Burden of Stafford, TX, Joann Robinson of Missouri City, TX and Donna Robinson Young of Franklin, LA.; his grandchildren, Nyla Grady, Alvin Robinson III, Kiora Grady, M'ahri Robinson, Cody Hall, Jalen Charles, Eris Robinson, Jr., Lauryn Robinson, Johnathan Hall and Kingston Robinson; and his great grandchildren, Reign Favors, Leslie Favors, Jr. and Oakley Charles.
