She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Murrell and Emelia Murrell; her husband Floyd Lee Trahan; her son Randall Trahan; her grandchildren, Bliss Trahan, Scotty Trahan and Misty Trahan; and her siblings, Wayne, Gernsie, Raymond, Norma, Billy, George, Calvin, Francis and Veronica.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Garland Trahan (Monica), Beth Best, Kenneth Dwayne Trahan, Patrick Brian Trahan and Kerry Layne Trahan (Charlene); her grandchildren, Trent, Kisha, Jonathan, Tasia, Denee, Meryl, Jason, Jared, Jacob, Chris and Tanner; and her siblings, Jimmy Murrell, Mary Louise LaBove and Stella Johnson. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur (107 W Napoleon St, Sulphur, LA 70663). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Theresa's Catholic Church (4822 Carlyss Dr, Sulphur, LA 70665).
