She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Young and Vera Young; her children, Scott Campbell and Melissa Dawn Hammett; her nephew Rodney Young; her grandson Billy Don Fredericks; and her siblings, Pete Young, Richard "Dick" Young, John Pat Young and Juanita Young Talley.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Hammett; her children, Thomas "Allen" White (Jennie Maples), Yancey White (Mechelle) and Bradley Hammett (Christine); her daughter-in-law Theresa Padon; her nephew Randy Young; and her siblings-in-law, Dean Hammett, Aquilla Young and Patricia Maynard. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren.
