He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Mae Benoit and Walter Rutherford Sr.; and his siblings, Rodney Rutherford, Briant Rutherford Sr., Allen Rutherford and Barbara Cureton.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Rutherford Montou (John) of Fort Worth, TX and Eddie Rutherford (Danielle) of Round Rock, TX; his grandchildren, Jennifer Neu (Scott) of Lindsay, TX and Eric Montou (Olivia) of Fort Worth, TX; his great grandchild Frances Montou; his siblings, Robert Rutherford, Randy Rutherford and Billie Farr; and his niece Angela Farr. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
