She was predeceased by: her husband John DeRose; her parents, Ezra Morein and Amy Morein; and her siblings, Alfred Morein, Carol Morein and Pearl Thibodeaux.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda DeRose Williams and Denise DeRose; her grandchildren, Yvette Barnes (Jim), Greg Williams (Melissa), Bryan Davis (Tina) and Valerie Hampton; her great grandchildren, Mason Barnes (Victoria), Jordan Barnes, Isabel Davis, Felix Alexander, Taylor Williams and Bentley Dawns; her great great grandchild Hudson Barnes; and her nephew Mike Morein.
