He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Trahan and Carroll Guidry; and his brother Roy Guidry. He is survived by: his wife Judith "Judy" Guidry; his children, Craig Guidry (Crystal) and Joni Nassar (Barry); his grandchildren, Haley, Cade Guidry, Kaitlyn Mouton, Laci Nassar and Brant Nassar; his great grandchildren, Cooper, Waylon, Brenley, Maverick and Gracelynn Raine; and his sister Carol Anne Comeaux (B. B.). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
