She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Prejean and Rita Prejean; her daughter Valeri; her husband A. J. Nicholas Goodfriend; and her siblings, Joyce Abshire and Jack Prejean.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Ann Dallas, Randall James and Jay Paul Nicholas Goodfriend (Cayse); her brother-in-law Joe (Charlotte); and her caregivers, Carolyn, Talia, Amber, Jessica, Don and Shay. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
