He was predeceased by: his sister Bertrella Young of New Iberia, LA.; his wife June Rae Fontenot; and his parents, Theogian Fontenot and Ida Fontenot. He is survived by: his children, Carol Thompson (Michael) of Groesbeck, TX, Joseph "Craig" Fontenot (Dianne) of Edgerly, LA, Lisa Domingue (Derrek) of Carlyss, LA, Bryan Fontenot and Pauline Labat of Carlyss. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
