He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Laughlin and Mayeuse Laughlin; and his daughter Karen Laughlin. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Pine, Brandon Vincent, Thomas Laughlin and Brianna Laughlin; his grandchildren, Charity, Breahnna, Gaius and Karen; and his siblings, Morris, Johnny Ray Laughlin, Rita Anderson, Samantha Broussard and Belinda Brockman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
He leaves to carry on his legacy, his four children, Elizabeth Pine, Brandon Vincent, Thomas Laughlin and Brianna Laughlin; his four grandchildren, Charity, Breahnna, Gaius, and Karen.
