He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Vallette and Arlene "Pookie" Vallette. He is survived by: his wife Della Abshire Vallette; his children, Mandy Trahan (Kaleb) of Carlyss, Dee Vallette of Carlyss and Marvin Vallette (Diana) of Carlyss; his brothers, Stevie Vallette (Ann) of Carlyss and Ricky Vallette (Roxana) of Sulphur; and his grandchildren, Elaina, Maebree, Dane, Juliet, Darbee, Maria, Victoria and Kambree.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Volunteers of America.
