Mary Valerie Collum touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley Collum and Georgia Collum; her husband Tom Barnhill; her daughter Tina Alexander; and her siblings, Shirley Taylor, May Bell, Dorothy Ainsworth, Glen Collum, Cecil Aaron and Curtis Aaron.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Wayne Barnhill (Brenda) of Newcastle and Jerry Dale Barnhill (Sharon) of Longville, Louisiana; her grandchildren, Greg Barnhill, Shelly Capps, Jerry Todd Barnhill, Jennifer Martinez, Sarah Sheffield, Daniel Barnhill, Brandon Barnhill, Joshua Barnhill, Grant Alexander and Collin Alexander; and her siblings, Josie Snodgrass of Odessa and George Collum of Odessa, Texas.. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Murray - Orwosky Funeral Home (876 Wildcat Way, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery (5784 TX-154, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482).
