It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Hollingsworth of Sulphur, Louisiana, who passed away on December 10, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Rodney Hollingsworth; her parents, Mary Lipari Abate and Vincent Joseph Abate; her parents-in-law, Bruce Hollingsworth and Maxine Harris; and her niece Allison Hollingsworth.
She is survived by: her children, Carrie Hollingsworth (Joe DeKeyzer) of Sulphur and Mark Bryan Hollingsworth (Denise) of Sulphur; her grandchildren, Clinton Busby (Brittany) of Sulphur, Cody Busby (Paige) of Sulphur, Claire Vincent (Will Baty) of Sulphur, Kaitlyn Hollingsworth Hooper (Ryan) of Moss Bluff, Andrew Hollingsworth (Kennedi) of Moss Bluff and Matthew Hollingsworth of California; her great grandchildren, Peyton Hooper, Harlee Hooper, Emery Hooper, Hudson Rains, Pierce Busby, Dani Kate Busby and Weston Busby; and her brother Vincent Joseph Abate, Jr. (Eva) of Lake Charles.
