REDDELL-Funeral services for Mary Jane Edwards, 82, will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at 11:00 A. M. with the visitation beginning at 8:00 A. M. at Word of Faith Full Gospel Church in Reddell, LA. Burial will be in St. Joseph B.C. Cemetery in Chataignier, LA. Bishop Allen Celestine, Jr. will conduct the funeral ceremony.
On Friday, August 19, 2016, the Angels of the Lord descended on Encore Nursing Home in Crowley, LA an escorted Mary to the "land that is fairer than day." Filled with empty wells of loneliness will be her children: Lorena Mose of Houston, TX, Dee Ella Stevenson and Della Vanessa Guillory both of Sulphur, LA, Jimmy David Edwards of Lafayette, LA and Michael Guillory of Shreveport, LA; one sister: Claudia Jack of Mamou, LA; 17 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
