He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, A. K. Seale and Ilene Seale; his wife Cathy; his children, Dr. Mary Churchman (Carl), Charles Seale (Lisa), Dr. Devin Seale (Molly) and Collin Seale (Erin); his grandchildren, Kyle, Luke, Morgan, Jake, Ivy and Parker; his daughter Jessica; and his sister Ilene Seale Lyman (late Larry Lyman).
