He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnie Starling Barton and Emma Gene Hindman; his significant other Oneida Fay Pevoto; and his brother Frankie. He is survived by: his sister Lou (Joe May) of Sparkman, AR; his nieces and nephews, Jerusha Schofer, Jay May, James May, Jennifer Green, Cathy LeDoux, Gayle Snell, Joan Chesson, Allen LeDoux, Rowdy Robinson, Debbie Toman and Diane Fontenot; his pet Kitten; and his friends, Denise Suarez, Mandy Martin, Rich Snell and Kathy Romero.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Johnson and Robison Funeral Home (107 W Napoleon St, Sulphur, LA 70663). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Mimosa Pines Cemetery South (568 Belle Moye Rd, Sulphur, LA 70665).
