He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Bushnell Anderson; his parents, Nita and John Anderson, Sr.; his brother Ronnie Anderson; and his grandsons, Cory Burgess, Gary Thompson, Jr. and Blake Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky Burgess (Katy) of Ragley, John W. Anderson, III (Tammy) of Moss Bluff, Tammy Thompson (Gary) of Ragley, LA and Elly Benoit of Sulphur; his sisters, Judy Lee Miller (Bobby) of Moss Bluff and Gail Cormie of Chloe; his grandchildren, Chase Burgess (Kristen), Kevin Anderson, Alexis Anderson, Haley Johnson, Dalton Thompson (Camrie), Nicolas Gary (Stephanie), Madison Hattersley (Dakota) and Karleigh Benoit; and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Wes, Gunnar, Fynli, Kinlee, Wyatt, Daxton, Barrett, Haegan, Parker and Everleigh.
