Jeron James LaFargue Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeron James LaFargue of Sulphur, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Joseph LaFargue and Geraldine Condon LaFargue; his wife Gail Singletary LaFargue; his brother Gregory Wayne LaFargue; and his stepdaughter Julie Dunham Doster.
He is survived by: his children, Elena Coffman (Dale) of Baton Rouge, LA and Douglas LaFargue (Rachel) of Verdun, France; his stepdaughter Dana Dixon of San Pedro, CA; and his sister Susan Kyle of Sulphur, LA. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Steele Burden Manor Nursing Facility St. Francis Chapel (4250 Essen Ln, Baton Rouge, LA 70809). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at 2023 Broad St, Lake Charles, LA 70601.
