He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeffery Deshotel and Virginia Deshotel; and his parents-in-law, Elias Cormier, Sr. and Jeanette Marie Cormier. He is survived by: his wife Celeste Deshotel; his children, Takisha Edwards of Sulphur, Alisha Dautreuil (Nicholas) of Sulphur, Robert Deshotel of Carlyss and Scott Deshotel of Moss Bluff; his grandchildren, Caleb Spears, Kalyn Broxson, Caden Edwards, Jimmy Broxson, Jr., Kelcie Broxson, Carter Edwards and Allie Edwards; his great grandchildren, Emmarie Broxson and Ryder Broxson; and his sister Vicki Neeley.
