It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Willson of Sulphur, Louisiana, born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on August 22, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Willson and Willdagene Willson; his brothers, William Willson and Stanley Willson; his son James (Willson, Jr.); and his parents-in-law, JT Koonce and Evelyn Harrington Koonce.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Koonce Willson; his daughter Stacey Grace Willson; his sister Darlene Fritzinger; his sisters-in-law, Ann Willson, Karen Willson, Mary Koonce and Joyce Koonce; and his caregiver Stella Thibodeaux Peveto. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
