It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ira Kenneth Ellender (Sulphur, Louisiana), born in Hackberry, Louisiana, who passed away on October 9, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adna Ellender and Edith Little Ellender; and his siblings, Flora Bell Trahan, George Roy Ellender and Robert Wayne Ellender.
He is survived by: his children, Shyla Coyne (Bill), Suzanne Cormier (Mike), Stephanie Cheaney (Randy), Brad Ellender, Danna Benoit and Amy Berwick (Jace); and his sisters, Ruby Lee Gauley and Delores McQueen. He is also survived by Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, and numerous Nieces & Nephews.
