He was predeceased by: his parents, Hammy Fontenot and Eva LaFleur Fontenot; his son Anthony "Tony" Keith Fontenot; and his siblings, Joyce LaFleur of Denham Springs, LA, Janelle Byrd of Oakdale, LA and Jetry Fontenot of Vinton.

He is survived by: his wife Julia Sornsen Fontenot of Carlyss; his children, Sheryl Willis (Randy) of Sulphur and Harry Fontenot, Jr. of Carlyss; and his siblings, Dorothy Duplechin of Jennings and Gerre Myers of Moss Bluff. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters.
