He was predeceased by: his parents, Vina Benoit and Erson Benoit; his wife Beverly Benoit; and his brother Leroy James Benoit. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Strother (Kenneth) of Sulphur, Hal Benoit (Elly Benoit) of Sulphur and Angie McAlister (James McAlister) of Sulphur; his siblings, Vickie Benoit Thomas of Sulphur and Mickie Benoit of Houston; and his close friend Brenda Gilbert. He is also survived by four grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
