He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Leroy Wellman and Vercie Opal Welch Wellman. He is survived by: his children, Eddie Wellman (Katy) of DeQuincy, Dereke Wellman of DeRidder and Sarah Cowart of Lafayette, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Baily Duplechian Whatley (Samuel), Karly Duplechian, Maribeth Cowart, Justin Wellman and Amelia Cowart; his great grandchild Liam Whatley; and his brothers, Gilbert Wellman of Athens and Garland Wellman of Longview. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting contributions be made to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home or to an account at B1 Bank to help with the funeral expenses.
