It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Dwayne Saucier (Sulphur, Louisiana), who passed away on February 7, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wanda Elaine Saucier McFarlin and R. J. "Frenchie" Saucier; and his stepson Joseph Trenton Herring. He is survived by: his wife Patrice Pruitt Saucier; his sons, Lester Saucier (Leslie Sazon), Gerald Saucier Pilkey and Jamie Hagan; his daughters-in-law, Yenid Herring and Lori Hagan; his granddaughters, Lucille Saucier and Isabelle Herring; and his siblings, Kathy McDainel (Leonard), Kristi Stewart (Doug), Lester Saucier (Gail) and Terry Saucier (Jahn). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, we are taking donations for the establishment of the Coach Shannon Suarez and Coach Bubby Saucier Memorial Scholarship Fund in honor of these two men.
